Virgin Islands, Cuba, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Saint Kitts and many other islands are made up of large rugged mountains formed by volcanic activity. It is also said that the deepest part of the Atlantic Ocean lies just on the fringe of the Caribbean Sea just north of Puerto Rico.
