From many points on the estate, especially from the garden, it is possible to enjoy magnificent views of the lake and the medieval fortress of Angera on the opposite shore. A famous architect designed and built Villa Adriana in the 1960's, and it has recently been restored and refurbished in a modern style. The interiors are spacious and light, with a varied range of colors, although whitedominates. The house has been featured in several magazines that specialize in architectural design.
