Hillcrest Cabin is a beautiful example of classic Tahoe style in a great North Lake Tahoe vacation home. This North Shore four bedroom vacation rental is a short walk from the beaches of Lake Tahoe and a short drive or pleasant stroll to Tahoe City which is less than 2 miles away.  In winter the North Shore ski areas are close by, with Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows only a 15 minute drive and Northstar at Tahoe less than 30 minutes.The quiet no through street and garden setting makes for the perfect location for dining in the outdoors, there is also a great hot tub for enjoying the chilly tahoe nights under the stars.

Every attention to detail has been taken in the design of this home and in equipping it with everything needed for your vacation. For those of you who like to entertain, the kitchen is well equipped and a pleasure to cook in and then you can retreat to a beautiful large dining room table that will seats 10.

The center point of the living room is a beautiful stone open fireplace, perfect for relaxing after a big day on the slopes. Hillcrest cabin also has a second small living area with a television perfect for the children to watch videos or if someone wants to get away from the group. There is also a small sitting area on the top floor, perfect for relaxing with a good book.

The hot tub is large and comfortable and the area has easy access and is under cover. It is the perfect place for a glass of wine while loosing up those skiing muscles.

There is two master suites, one downstairs and one upstairs. All the bed and the bath linen in this home is high quality and made for comfort. The beds are all very comfortable and are going to be hard to drag yourself out in the morning.

Hillcrest sits on a quiet dead end street and has easy flat access with a long driveway and ample parking.

Hillcrest is less than 1.5 miles from Tahoe City and a short ride or walk to the bike path that goes to Tahoe City and then to Squaw Valley or to Homewood. Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows are within a fifteen minute drive (not including those heavy traffic weekends).

There is a garage but it is not for your use .  The caretaker does live on the property and is helpful to your needs.  The owners will consider dogs on a case by case basis.
