Or drive 5 miles down the West Shore to Homewood Ski Resort to beat the traffic and crowds, and enjoy breathtaking lake views. The cross country ski trails of Granlibakken resort are minutes from the front door of this vacation rental. In the summer months, enjoy nearby access to boat ramps, beaches and swimming, boat, kayak, and jetski rentals, and the North Tahoe bike path.

Rawhide Retreat offers 2 sunny decks with ample patio furniture including outdoor dining sets and lounge chairs, and also includes a gas BBQ.  The living room, kitchen and dining area are all open plan, creating a social atmosphere, perfect for sharing each day's Tahoe adventure. This great room is equipped with radiant hydronic floor heating, as well as a gas stove situated next to comfy new sofas. The dining area offers a bright and sunny table for 10 guests. The modern kitchen is well equipped, with an oven, dishwasher, stovetop, full size fridge, microwave and toaster oven. Cookware, silverware, plates, cups, etc. are all in ample supply. Access to both front and rear decks is available from the great room, allowing for ultimate indoor/outdoor entertaining. A playroom/ living area downstairs is ideal for keeping children entertained, and offers and fuseball table. Rawhide retreat is equipped with 4 TV's, 3 DVD players, and a VCR.
