A winding road leads to villa Palm Vista, a hillside vacation hideaway in St John's Skytop, where guests are greeted by cool tradewinds & wide-angled sea views of Reef Bay, Fish Bay, Rendezvous Bay and, on a clear day, breathtaking views of St Croix, 50 miles to the south. The villa is built in artistic St John style, with striking accent walls of brick, local stone & shells. A soothing palette of cool travertine tile floors & vaulted cypress ceilings complete Palm Vista's charming interiors. 

Entering through French doors, Palm Vista's main level features a living room with comfortable L-shaped sofa & 40" Sony LCD TV with surround sound & stereo. A stunning native-stone bar area & completely-equipped kitchen conveniently adjoin the living room & verandah. The kitchen features custom mahogany cabinetry & concrete counters inlaid with island shells & sea glass. On the other side of the living room is an a/c queen bedroom suite with spacious bath boasting a spacious travertine shower framing the ocean vista (the bathroom can also be accessed from the living area for handy use as a powder room). 

Large glass sliders open from the living area onto the covered verandah & adjacent pool and sun deck, overlooking 280-degree panoramic vistas of the Caribbean & lush, green Virgin Islands National Park (should safety ever be a concern, a wooden gate can close off the pool/sundeck as needed). The scenic coral-tiled verandah provides comfortable chairs & chaises for lounging, reading, napping or enjoying evening cocktails, and an alfresco dining area features mesmerizing views.

A staircase between the verandah & pool deck leads to Palm Vista's lower level, with 2 large, identically-sized a/c king bedroom/bath suites located side by side, bordering an oceanview patio. Each bathroom features travertine baths and are spacious. A laundry room is also located on this level. 

The charming town of Cruz Bay, with restaurants, boutiques, markets, watersports & interisland ferries, is a leisurely 15-minute drive from Palm Vista. The sandy beach at the Westin Resort (Great Cruz Bay) is 6 minutes by car, and St John's world-renowned North Shore National Park beaches are a 25-30 minute drive from the villa.
