Located North of Luray off of I-66 in Front Royal, Va. 22630. Only 5 miles South of Front Royal and 30 miles North of Luray. Only 60 miles from Washington D.C.

Bella River Cottage is a quaint English style cottage located in scenic Front Royal, VA with scenic mountain views of the Skyline Drive from a large deck where you can BBQ on the gas grill, dine, and relax under an open sky.

There is a short walking / hiking path which leads down to a spacious open pasture for those who like volley ball, where a picnic table has been set-up near the shady Shenandoah River's edge, where you can fish off the bank. For canoeing and kayaking enthusiasts, there are directions at the cottage to the public boat access of Virginia Game and Fisheries, located only 5 miles away.

At the cottage you will also find directions to nearby places of interest, including the entrance to the Skyline Drive/Shenandoah National Park and Skyline Caverns (both approx. 5 miles away), the Andy Guest State Park, Elizabeth Furnace/George Washington National Forest, Wineries, antique shops, local shopping centers, restaurants, and downtown historical Front Royal, VA.

For indoor entertainment, Bella River Cottage offers satellite TV, DVD/VCR with various movies, a tape player with numerous cassette tapes of music that were American favorites in a previous era, an X-Box game system with numerous games, playing cards, board games, books and other amusements. Arrangements can also be made with All Star Lodging for internet access.

Please be advised you have rented a mountainous property. The main and secondary roads are usually paved. However there are many side roads that are gravel or hard packed dirt surfaces. You may experience potholes, ruts, steep inclines and rough terrain. Most front wheel drive vehicles have no trouble accessing their property from these roads as long as you drive safely and slowly. We do not recommend low profile vehicles such as sports cars or motorcycles. During inclement weather such as snow or ice you may be required to have 4 wheel drive or tire chains. We also recommend Travel Insurance during winter months. We do not give refunds for road conditions that are out of our control.

This is our first time in providing Bella River Cottage as a rental, and we hope that you enjoy your time spent there, as much as we have !
